Yeah, we’re sure she’s going to really miss having to bend over cars and wear ridiculously low-cut tops.

A source close to the project has said that giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story.

Well, three names are currently being touted, who could possibly fill the demanding and highly specialised role vacated by Megan Fox: Gemma Arterton, Ashley Greene and Zoe Saldana.

But we’re imagining this is all pure conjecture, especially considering various other websites are reporting that supermodels (what else?) Bar Rafaeli, Miranda Kerr and Brooklyn Decker are also on the list...

Megan Fox gar heute bekannt, dass es ihre eigene Entscheidung ist nicht mehr im dritten Teil von Transformers mitzuwirken und stieg heute aus! Wie sich damit die Serie und Teil 3 auswirken wird und wie das Drehbuch geschrieben wird, damit sie nicht mehr zu sehen ist im Film, wird sich zeigen. Auf jeden Fall soll für Shia eine neue weibliche Schauspielerin gefunden und gecastet werden. Warum genau Megan Fox ausgestiegen ist, ist soweit noch unbekannt. Da sie aber bereits in Teil 2 eine eher zickige und überflüssige Rolle spielte, und ausserdem Krach mit Michael Bay hatte, ist es vielleicht nicht mal so schlecht, wenn sie sich vom dritten Teil fernhält. Als nächstes wird sie auf jeden Fall im Western-Actionfilm Jonah Hex zu sehen sein, der auch einiges verspricht (Score by Marco Beltrami und John Powell). Ob sie dort auch überflüssig ist, wird sich zeigen...

Megan Fox is seeking to transform rumor to fact.

The actress is slamming speculation she was booted from the third installment of the Transformers action film franchise.

Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3, reps for the actress, 24, tell PEOPLE. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.

Citing unnamed sources, Variety reports the studio and the film's director, Michael Bay, intend to cast another actress as star Shia LaBeouf's love interest to move the story in a different direction.

Shooting for the film, slated for a July 2011 release, is expected to kick off this summer in locations across the U.S.

Fox, meanwhile, is prepping for the June 18 release of Jonah Hex, an action film she stars in opposite Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett.
